Lake Dallas Talks Of Banning Hand-Held Devices For Drivers

The Lake Dallas City Council has recently discussed the possibility of banning the use of hand-held communication devices while driving within the city.

Mayor Mike McCaleb broached the topic at a meeting in January. McCaleb said he has become more concerned about the dangers of distracted drivers in the city, particularly those distracted by cell phones.
No further action on the possible banning has been taken by the council.
