LDMS Student Council Awarded

For the second year in a row, the Lake Dallas Middle School Student Council met the state requirements to be awarded Sweepstakes Council by the Texas Association of Student Councils (TASC). In addition, they received a special Top Project award for their “Buddy Bench”. According to TASC, fewer than 20% of schools are recognized in one or more of the following categories: Community Service, Pride and Patriotism, Energy and Environment, Drug, Alcohol, Safety and Health Awareness, Outstanding Student Council and Sweepstakes.
