Teach Denton Awards Students

Thirty-eight Denton ISD Seniors were honored for participating in Teach Denton, a program where students work in a teaching internship capacity with participating campus educators. Each participating student received three college credit hours and a certificate. A scholarship was awarded to student Maria Alamilla-Suarez. She will use it to toward her tuition at TWU.

Upon receiving their college degree and teaching certification, Teach Denton students receive priority employment consideration with Denton ISD.
